Socionics

Socionics, possibly derived from the words "society" and "bionics". It is a style of Social Science because it deals with the study of society and social behavior. The bionics in "Socionics" simply represents the mechanical based modeling of the psyche (see Model A).

Thus we get a new potential cliché, "to see the world through socionic eyes" i.e. with enhanced "psychological vision" of what's actually going on in the social world, analogous to say wearing "X-Ray specs" that can see the reverse side of playing cards in a game of Poker (for a distinct advantage over other players).

Trivia

Socionics also contains letters that eventually produce an association to the word "ions". The actual acronym 'I.O.N.S.' translates to the Institute Of Noetic Sciences.

What is Noetic?

It derives from the ancient Greek word noesis meaning "the exercise of reason" or in modern usage, "cognition, especially through direct and self-evident knowledge".

"Socionics" (Redux)

A conceptual framework that can accurately account for how the social world works by the exercise of reason and cognitive free association that gives a deeper appreciation of others thus reducing (and eliminating) social problems like Ageism, Racism, Sexism etc.
