This is simply the name given for a small group of four personality types that share either a common theme or experience particular social effects when brought together. For example, Quadras share similar motivations and world-views whilst a Ring of Social Control equates to four types displaying a "chain of command" when in each other's presence leading to certain psychological +tive/-tive issues
