Apparently I didn't get the job purely because of timing. No shortlist. No fair chance to get heard. Just bad timing within no less than a few days from the job advert going up to applying (and making an assertive inquiry and follow-up call).
Heck, I even asked about the possibilities for unpaid work experience and the response was like "na, na, na.. dunno… NO.". What has the "Gamma World" come to when they can't even exploit people who want to BE exploited for FREE??
Well it looks as though I certainly took that "red pill" a long time ago. No longer one of "them" and never will be. Its like being "above the Law" in a completely legal way i.e. man's right to exist for his own sake and not for the exploits of others with unfair opportunities to create an income.
The rigidness of ye almighty corporation seems pathetic; they appear to me as completely sensitive to any "wise guy" who can potentially analyze their internal structure and learn A LOT about how they operate in a short space of time.
Conclusion:
The REAL equal opportunities rest in cyberspace and networking.
Viva la neo-economic revolution!

Why join Definitive-Socionics.Info?
- For remarkable content integration. It doesn't matter what kind of content you contribute it will all get highly integrated together. For example, you create a new article, blog post or glossary definition and it will automatically get linked to a dedicated discussion in the forum. There can be little or no mistakes because the admin and moderators can move/rename/tidy-up etc. content-pages/forum-posts where deemed necessary;
- For monetization possibilities. Any content can be affiliated to relevant products and services providing the code you need to embed is currently supported by the platform. This removes "the non-profit dilemma" as expressed in the case studies below;
- For more collaboration and less bickering over who's "right"?;
- To embrace Web 2.0 philosophy and combine many different web services and methods to aid and assist in how we learn about the world through "socionic eyes";
- To market the Socionics framework and the various unexplored potential off-shoots for new products and services that solve real-world problems;
- To become guru's of Socionics so we can create new opportunities for ourselves and others in the world of value-exchange (business);
- To increase your on-line presence and gain credibility for your ideas — new and refined;
Case Study #1: Wikidot vs. Wordpress
Wordpress.com (and most other FREE blogging platforms like Blogger, Typepad etc.) represent to me "the non-profit dilemma". In other words, when will all that public thought recording and journaling make any difference to one's self and others financially? Likely not at all currently.
Case Study #2: Wikidot vs. phpBB
phpBB is the most widely used Open Source forum solution. Again "the non-profit dilemma" ensues. After hundreds of thousands of forum posts who actually benefits apart from those "militant members" who gain a sense of pride with their online presence.
Case Study #3: Wikidot vs. MediaWiki
MediaWiki is a web-based wiki software application used by the grand-daddy wiki of them all — Wikipedia.org as well as many others. Yet again "the non-profit dilemma" ensues. Inevitably it seems that contributors want and need compensation for their efforts else content generation suffers.

What was "web 1.0" philosophy?
In my last opinion it was basically "the 80/20 rule". In other words, 80% content produced by the website creators, designers and developers with 20% content (if we were lucky enough!) coming from the visitors.
What is this "web 2.0" philosophy?
In my current view its basically "the 20/80 rule". In other words, 20% content produced by "a guy or small group of guys" who startup a website leaving 80% of the remaining content to get freely published by visitors with little or no restrictions that the original authors had.
So who "owns" the site?
In essence — nobody does although somebody had to take charge to get the thing up and running.
The Admin (
WhiteKnight82) is simply the founder of a new community network.
In the mean time *anyone* who joins the site is as free as the Admin to create/edit pages and write articles for fun and (potential) profit (with affiliate links such as the one's i've embedded in the edutainment section.
Closing thoughts
"Web 2.0" therefore is the "new race" to use the internet as a viable business platform for *anyone* willing to exploit it in a way that benefits self and others.
in discussion General Discussions / The Lounge » Width Issue
Its all fixed now.. apparently the shoutbox was too wide forcing the table to expand too much and stuff… anyway its now fixed and looks "lovely" at 1024x768 resolutions and above.. i don't usually maximize my browser on a 1280x1024 resolution though keep somewhere in between as i need access to me desktop..

Looks like an interesting thing has happened. Although comments are page-independent they also compile simultaneously into a forum thread.
So in other words it removes the worry about where's the "right" place to discuss a page i.e. on the comments or in the forum as its technically both anyway.
Cool.
in discussion Hidden / Per page discussions » Alpha-Gamma Wars
A test comment for this page. An alternative to discussing in the forum with a special page link.
in discussion General Discussions / The Lounge » It's dynamically fantastic!
Tell me what you want changed and it can be done, within reason of course.
in discussion General Discussions / The Lounge » Width Issue
I didn't realize that the wiki is so wikid that its too wide specifically on the start page. I can solve this by either playing around with the tables, making a warning that site looks best at "high resolutions" or I can do the drastic thing of removing the sidebar.
A bit of a silly issue since it only affects the start page as far as I can tell. Everything else appears fine as it was meant to be. I shall have to tweak the start page then although its not really a priority at the moment.

in discussion General Discussions / The Bar » Socionics & Superlatives
What are superlatives?
"sue-pur-la-tives"
highest in degree of comparison: expressing the highest degree of grammatical comparison of an adjective or adverb — MSN Encarta
The general rule of thumb is to amend an adverb with "-ist" or "-ing" or to add a quantifier like "most" or "least" and so on and so forth.
Examples:
The superlative form of: "great" is "greatest" ; "small" is "smallest" ; "light" is "lightest" ; etc.
Also valid are short superlative statements such as: "most rewarding"; "least knowledgeable" ; "most sociable" ; etc.
Of course its all fun and games though the next question once a superlative statement has been made is to ask one's self, "by what standard(s)?". Thus heating up the debate surrounding the superlative proclamation made.
Why might this be a useful exercise?
I believe that by identifying extremes of excellence so to speak I can then look at the "big picture" at a glance with a view to then seeing myself as "incomplete" in areas that I can choose to work on.
Superlatives + Socionics = "A basis for personal growth"

"Web 2.0" Generation
This "web 2.0" wiki allows you, the reader, to contribute as much or as little as you like with no-fixed commitments. To illustrate this idea I embed an edu-taining video for your learning pleasure:
| "Web 2.0 is the business revolution in the computer industry caused by the move to the internet as a platform, and an attempt to understand the rules for success on that new platform." — Tim O'Reilly | ||
|---|---|---|
The point of this post
To illustrate how participating in the forum has as much "freedom" as one has to edit and create pages. I, the admin, don't care too much what gets written in the forum as long as its somewhat relevant to Socionics (where stated).
Unlike a forum platform like phpBB this forum allows anyone, not just the admin, to embed affiliate links should you wish to do some article marketing. In fact you can embed anything that wikidot supports, refer to [http://www.wikidot.com/doc:embedding].

Looks like a good thing the way we can finally have a website on Socionics with an abundance of information both neatly presented as a Wiki and the on-going debates of a forum all integrated together without losing sense of why we're here.
